OHIO TRANSMISSION CORPORATION ACQUIRES LOUISVILLE, KY., COMPANY

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Transmission Corporation, an industrial equipment service provider and distributor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, announces the acquisition of Tape Industrial Sales, Inc. The Louisville, Ky.- based company specializes in industrial finishing and sealant/adhesive applications.
Founded in 1975, Tape Industrial Sales, Inc., represents leading product lines in the fluid management industry. One of only three Graco-certified sealant and adhesive division technology centers, the company specializes in supplying the industry with paint, powder and sealant and adhesive application; and fluid management equipment, including fluid pumping, transferring, dispensing, metering and spraying equipment for paints, resins, adhesives, sealants, solvents, lubricants, inks, chemicals, foods and sanitary products. Tape Industrial Sales, Inc.’s corporate offices include a sealant/adhesive demonstration lab, warehouse parts department and complete repair service facility. The company serves customers in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

The company will become a division of OTP Industrial Solutions, which provides technical sales and service for industrial automation, motion control, fluid power, pumps, spray finishing, sealant and adhesive application and power transmission systems and products. Tape Industrial Sales, Inc., will continue to operate under the same name and with current local management, including Ryan Tape, CEO, who will remain in a consulting role, and Ralph Ciolek, president, who will lead the team.

With this acquisition, Ohio Transmission Corporation now has 34 locations throughout the South, Southeast, Midwest and Northeast regions, along with 16 service shops. The addition of Tape Industrial Sales, Inc.’s associates, including a team of sales engineers, expands Ohio Transmission Corporation’s existing workforce of more than 900 employees.
