IPC’s National Surgical Hospitals Acquires Surgery Center

CHICAGO – National Surgical Hospitals, Inc., an owner, operator and developer of surgery centers and surgical hospitals in partnership with local physicians, today announced that it has purchased an interest in The Fairfield Surgery Center, LLC located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The purchase increases to eight the number of ambulatory surgery centers nationwide in which NSH holds an ownership interest and management role.

The Fairfield Surgery Center was developed in 1999 by the Orthopedic Specialty Group, P.C., one of the leading orthopedic groups in Connecticut. The approximately 7,000-square-foot orthopedic outpatient center contains two operating rooms and currently completes more than 1,400 cases per year.
